What is Compass Physio Beginners Mat Pilates?

Beginners Mat Pilates is perfect for those new to Pilates

It is also suitable for anyone returning to Pilates after an injury

Beginners Mat Pilates takes place at Compass Physio and we have two options

It can be face to face in a small group environment

Or online via zoom

The classes last in total up to 60 minutes

This includes a warm up and cool down

The class focuses on Pilates Fundamentals and makes sure you are performing the exercises correctly

The pace of the class is controlled

The expert Pilates Instructors at Compass Physio demonstrate the exercises

As a class participant you will then follow the movement

The instructor then gives feedback on your technique and makes any changes to your form

Each exercise will have an easier version

And also a progression or more challenging method

The classes are designed to give you confidence that what you are doing is correct

Each class is different with a focus on a certain body part

Who is Pilates for?

If you’ve suffered with back pain, general stiffness and are looking to stay strong.

It is also for people looking to improve their strength and flexibility
