Carol is fully qualified in Pilates, Pre and Post Natal fitness and Personal Training through the
National Training Centre in Dublin since 2006. She has run her own Pilates classes and fitness business Holistic Pilates & Fitness in Maynooth in person and online for many years.

Prior to this she
also obtained an Honours Batchelor of Science Degree in Zoology from UCD.

Coming from a background in dance, in particular, ballet, she uses this love for movement to inform her teaching style. Movement has always been a big part of her life, from ballet to bodybuilding! She
believes the right movement is medicine and that through conscious practices, we can lead more balanced lives.

Carol has a passion for all things health and fitness related but is particularly interested in the connection between the mind and body and how Pilates often bridges the gap between them.

Here At Compass Physio We Offer A Wide Range Of Pilates Classes To Cater For Every Individual’s Needs

Beginners Mat Pilates

A 60 minute class that is carried out at a controlled pace focusing on the fundamentals of Pilates allowing you to gain confidence with your practice. Perfect for those new to Pilates or returning to the practice following an injury/surgery.

Improvers Mat Pilates

A 60 minute class perfect for those who have been doing Beginner’s Pilates for a period of time and are looking for an additional challenge. In this class we continue to build on our traditional Pilates exercises whilst really honing in on technique and building strength.

Intermediate/Advanced Mat Pilates

A challenging class (60 minutes) that is for those with experience of pilates and are looking to improve movement control, strength and flexibility. These classes are not for the faint of heart! They are carried out at a deliberate pace which will be sure to get your heart rate up. Ideally suited to those who are fit, active and used to exercise

1:1 Pilates

Run both Online and in our Enfield Clinic, these 60 minute sessions are a must for those who are new to Pilates and to those looking to really focus on mastering their Pilates technique. Your bespoke Pilates session will be uniquely designed for you by our expert instructor Emer McCabe who will be able to guide you on the right path to becoming an even better version of you.

Active Aging

A wonderful class that is FREE to all those aged 60+. Here at Compass Physio we are passionate about keeping people moving and this class ensures you do just that…..with some fun thrown in along the way!

As our beautiful world was turned upside down in March 2020, so did the way we run our classes. Currently we are running all our classes online which allows you to exercise safely from the comfort of your own home.

In these uncertain times we realise now more than ever the importance of moving for both physical and mental health.


We also ensure each one of our classes is recorded and posted on our Private Facebook page which is exclusively available to class members only.
